Dolomites Ranch offers an unforgettable vacation opportunity to explore the extraordinary natural beauty of the American West. Two itineraries designed to explore the best of the Western National Parks and the charm of Old West are available and are combined with a pleasant and relaxing stay at the exclusive Dolomites Ranch.

Dolomites Ranch is located on 50 acres that are at the complete disposal of its guests. At the heart of Dolomites Ranch is Chalet Cristallo. With Alpine-style architecture made entirely of wood, its comfortable and welcoming atmosphere are in perfect harmony with the surrounding environment. The lodge accommodates a maximum of 4 people and is an exclusive, private space that the guests have entirely to themselves. The lodge has two bedrooms with queen sized beds, one bathroom, an office with internet and wi-fi, and a lounge with a fireplace.

When staying at Dolomites Ranch, your comfort and relaxation are our priority. You will be served a continental breakfast, as well as a fabulous gourmet dinner; lunch will be also available on request. To enhance your relaxation experience, a swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, and massage cabin are available all nestled in the sage and pinon forest nearby. Quiet nature walks, a picturesque lake, hiking and mountain biking are also available.

Dolomites Ranch is located in Southeastern Colorado on Wild Horse Mesa, almost 9,000 feet above sea level. Located about 45 minutes north of Taos, New Mexico, it is situated between the majestic natural beauty of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, the San Juan Mountains and Great Sand Dunes National Park. Nearby you can see some of Colorado’s famous fourteener’s including Mt Blanca topping out at 14,343 feet and Culebra Mountain which reaches 14,045 feet. Frequent wildlife sightings occur including mule deer, elk, pronghorn antelope, coyotes, hummingbirds and a multitude of other wild animals. The flora of Wild Horse Mesa is typical of an alpine desert and includes wild native sage, pinon pine and juniper. It is a tranquil mountain retreat with splendid views of the San Luis Valley, clean air and unspoiled nature. Shopping, entertainment and services are available in Alamosa, Colorado and Taos, New Mexico.

To get the most out of your vacation may we suggest one of our tour packages. Our Gold Tour is a 16 day, 14 night stay. Our Diamond Tour is a 23 day, 21 night stay. Your vacation package includes transportation to and from the airport, a travel guide who speaks native Italian to accompany you from the time you arrive at the airport until you depart, breakfast and dinner with drinks included, transportation to all of the tour locations via private car or minivan with air conditioning, and overnight stays in historic hotels while away from the Ranch. While at Dolomites Ranch you will be treated to an all-inclusive, luxury experience. The trip does not include airfare or a travel insurance policy.

We schedule the Gold and the Diamond Tours from June 15 to October 15, while we are open year around for the nightly accomodation and the romantic getaway.
